Pomocníček (The Little Helper) | Matěj Johánek

Pomocníček (The Little Helper) is a web application with artificial intelligence that helps high school students streamline their learning. It addresses the problem of passive and unmotivated studying, which often leads to ineffective results. The target group is all high school students regardless of their level—the application recommends suitable study methods, monitors their habits, supports reflection and learning planning, and motivates them through gamification.

The main goal is to create personalized support for the development of study skills with a low entry threshold – easy to use, feedback "like from a friend," clear progress. Within the project, development has moved towards a diary application that emphasizes self-reflection and personal choice of methods rather than directive guidance.

The added value of the project is the support of student autonomy, friendly reflection on progress, and inspiration to discover one's own learning style.

AI TOOLS USED IN THE PROJECT

  1. ChatGPT – main tool for brainstorming, writing design briefs, creating research questions, testing features, and obtaining feedback
  2. Claude – supplementing research questions, analyzing data, generating higher-quality responses to questionnaires
  3. Perplexity AI – research, comparison of research questions
  4. Piktochart, Venngage, Julius – tools for data visualization (with varying levels of satisfaction)
  5. Tarot Cards of Tech – tool for ethical analysis of the project
  6. AI-generated personas / simulated users – for feedback and concept testing
