MMA – Ministry Methodological Assistant | Petr Havlíček
AI assistant for project managers in the field of European funds.
The project addresses the problem of poor searchability and clarity of lifelong learning courses offered at Masaryk University. Although the faculties offer dozens of high-quality courses, the information is fragmented and difficult to access for ordinary applicants.
The solution is an AI guide that recommends courses based on the user's life situation (e.g., "returning after maternity leave," "wanting to change careers") instead of complex filtering by faculty or field of study. The target groups are adults with limited time, people looking for practical benefits, and those who are unfamiliar with what the university has to offer.
The result is a functional AI chatbot built on GPT technology that provides personalized course recommendations based on preferences, time, and interests. The project also includes clickable prototypes, user research with questionnaires and interviews, storyboards, and a promo video.
Ethics: The project thoroughly addresses ethical aspects using Ethics Canvas and Tarot Cards of Tech. It deals with the risk of bias in recommendations, personal data protection, the digital divide, and transparency in AI decision-making. It proposes specific solutions: output auditing, human support, clear AI labeling, and the option to contact live advisors.
