MMA – Ministry Methodological Assistant | Petr Havlíček
AI assistant for project managers in the field of European funds.
The project explores the possibilities of using large language models to simulate human behavior and predict attitudes toward various future scenarios in the context of transitive design. It has gradually expanded from a narrow focus on simulation to a more general use of generative AI in transitive design methods.
The goal was to explore how LLMs can help test speculative scenarios and create detailed visions of possible futures. The project involves experimenting with AI-powered analysis of in-depth interviews, creating visions of the future through videos, and developing interactive web applications for inspiration in the Experiential Futures Ladder method.
The result is an artifact in the form of a video depicting a possible future using AI to test design scenarios, a functional web application for generating everyday scenarios of different people in the context of the climate crisis, and a comprehensive analysis of prediction possibilities in complex social systems.
Ethics: The project addresses risks such as deepening the status quo, confirmation bias, unverifiability, and the black-box effect. It pays particular attention to the potential misuse of "totalitarian testing" and the issue of the moral circle in creating future scenarios. It proposes mitigation strategies based on the values and processes surrounding the system.
