MMA – Ministry Methodological Assistant | Petr Havlíček
AI assistant for project managers in the field of European funds.
The project focuses on the use of artificial intelligence as an assistant in online education tutoring. It is based on personal experience with the demanding nature of online courses, where tutors spend a disproportionate amount of time grading assignments and providing feedback.
The solution is "TutorAI helper" - an AI system that analyzes student texts, generates preliminary personalized feedback in various styles (friendly, expert, structured), and creates infographics or visual summaries. The goal is not to replace the tutor, but to speed up routine parts of the work and save time that can be spent working directly with students.
The project has gradually evolved from automating assignment corrections to a broader view of AI as an assistant that provides preliminary analysis and suggestions, while the final evaluation remains with the teacher. The result is a functional demonstration of the possibilities of free AI tools for tutoring purposes.
Ethics: The project addresses the risk of student discrimination, possible misuse to reduce personnel costs, accessibility for less tech-savvy tutors, and dependence on technology. It proposes solutions such as mandatory human oversight labeling, AI explainability, and balanced use of technology.
