MMA – Ministry Methodological Assistant | Petr Havlíček
AI assistant for project managers in the field of European funds.
The project focuses on creating an AI assistant for novice home brewers who face challenges related to the complexity of home brewing, the availability of understandable information, and experimenting with recipes. The target group is mainly beginners who want to start home brewing but don't know where to start, and those who already have basic experience and want to improve their recipes and processes.
The AI assistant serves as an interactive guide covering the entire home brewing process—from recommending and compiling recipes based on available ingredients and user preferences, to step-by-step brewing assistance, problem diagnosis (e.g., "the beer is too bitter" or "the beer is not fermenting"), to analyzing results and learning from the history of previous brews.
The main output of the project is the e-book "AI for Home Brewing in 10 Steps," which provides practical guidance on the use of AI tools in brewing, an AI assistant for analyzing and suggesting beer recipes implemented as Custom GPT, and a promotional video created using the latest AI tools. The project was validated by a survey in a Facebook group of home brewers (117 respondents), which confirmed the relevance of the problem.
Ethics: The project comprehensively addressed ethical aspects using Tarot Cards of Tech and identified two main groups of risks: 1) AI gives bad advice – risk of mistrust, ruined brews, and health problems, 2) Relationships within the community begin to disappear – risk of weakening the brewing community and dividing it into "AI users" vs. "AI opponents." Proposed measures include clear warnings about the limitations of AI, support for community communication, and a chapter entitled "What AI cannot do."
