SOVA – Student’s Organizer & Virtual Assistant | Evgeniia Tokmakova

This individual project focuses on developing a comprehensive AI personal study assistant specifically for students in Brno. SOVA combines intelligent planning, organization, and prioritization of study obligations with advanced AI technologies, including natural language processing, machine learning, and predictive analytics.

The project includes integration with university systems (IS MUNI, STAG), an intelligent calendar, task manager, personalized study plans, motivational elements, and mental well-being monitoring. A key innovation is SOVA Chat with intelligent voice recording, which allows students to record voice notes that AI automatically processes and categorizes (tasks, events, reminders).

Ethics: A thorough analysis using Ethical Canvas identified a wide range of risks, from AI dependency and loss of autonomy to the digital divide, algorithmic bias, and privacy threats. A comprehensive mitigation strategy has been proposed, including diversified training data, user control over data, and transparent communication.
