Dr. Michal Černý

He is a leading Czech expert on digital competence (DigComp), information literacy, and Digital Competence for Educators (DigCompEdu). He is the author of all the texts in this course as well as its learning design. He has long viewed digital competence as a person’s ability to function in the “onlife” environment in a way that enables them to lead a good life and achieve their goals. He has been actively engaged in these topics for many years at the university level, at the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic, and at other institutions. 

Bc. Klára Tauchmanová

She is studying at the Department of Information Studies and Library Science, focusing, among other things, on teaching, media and information literacy, and technology in education. She works as an online instructor and student support for this course, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to her if you have any questions or encounter any problems. When she’s not helping other students navigate minor academic crises in their studies, she’s trying to manage her own, having coffee with friends, or finding a quiet moment to read.
