Mind maps

Mind maps are probably the best-known and most popular creative technique ever. They are used for graphical representation of thoughts about a problem. They can be used to promote creativity, help with learning, function as a memory technique, support time and task management, or for note-taking during reading. If one learns to use them, they are a tool that can help in many life and study situations. At the same time, it is probably the technique that enjoys the broadest social acceptance and to which countless websites, blogs and books are dedicated.

Unlike many other creative techniques, mind maps are also associated with the frequent use of technology. While many conventional techniques will involve pencil and paper, mind maps, a mobile phone app, an online tool, or installed software is also a relevant alternative (though not the only one available).
